About Beyond the Harvest

Mission

The Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies (SIIT), in partnership with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, is thrilled to host the Beyond the Harvest Summit presented by Nutrien!

The 1.5-day Beyond the Harvest Summit will bring together Indigenous and non-Indigenous leaders in the agri-business sector to generate collaboration and inclusion, to discuss opportunities to support Indigenous participation in the sector, and to gather data and assess needs in relation to interests and requirements of First Nations and agriculture sector partners.

It is our hope that by hosting this summit we will be able to gather the resources available (i.e., land) and needing the tools (i.e., expertise, access to markets) to support Indigenous participation in the sector, from production to marketing.
